Dedicated dark room
A matte-white fixed frame is a conventional fit because the room already handles ambient light. You can prioritize uniformity, size and seating rather than optical light rejection.
Multipurpose living room
If daylight and ceiling lights remain active during viewing, consider whether an ALR/CLR material is more important than a higher-gain matte-white surface.
Plan speakers before screen size
Non-acoustically-transparent screens generally require speakers below or beside the image. Leave enough lateral wall space if you want conventional left/right speakers flanking the screen.
100″ vs 120″
Mark both sizes on the wall, sit in your normal seats, and verify projector geometry. A 120″ image is 44% larger in area than 100″, which is a meaningful jump.
