Fixed frame strengths
- Consistent tension and flatness.
- No motor or rolling mechanism.
- Always ready; no deployment wait.
- Strong fit for dedicated theaters and many UST setups.
Motorized strengths
- Wall can be used for artwork, windows or a television when the screen is retracted.
- Useful in multipurpose rooms.
- Drop position can solve some room-layout challenges.
- Floor-rising versions can work where wall mounting is undesirable.
UST buyers should prioritize tension
Any retractable screen used with UST should be especially flat. Tab tensioning or purpose-built UST floor-rising designs are common because non-tensioned waves are easier to see at steep projection angles.
Featured fixed-frame option
